The spa-like environment of the skin care clinic is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect the peaceful atmosphere by maintaining conversations at a considerate volume in the treatment area.
It is understandable that as busy professionals and family members, we must maintain the lines of contact with the outside world. For this reason, guests may keep phones on vibrate in the treatment area. However, we ask that you kindly refrain from talking on the phone or texting during your treatment so that your skin therapist is able to maintain a safe treatment.
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This will allow ample time to fill out the client profile forms necessary to tailor our treatments to your personal needs, and so that you may relax and enjoy tea before beginning your services.
Scheduled treatments are reserved especially for you. We require 24 hour advance notice in order to cancel any service with no charge. If your appointment is not cancelled within this notification period, your appointment is considered confirmed. Any changes or cancellations made after the 24 hour window are subject to a charge for each service. Because of this policy, a valid credit card number is required at time of booking. This policy also applies to gift card and certificate holders. If your appointment time has already begun and you are not able to make it, this is considered a no-show and will be charge 100% of the scheduled services.
All spa appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.
Unused products in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days for a full refund. Gift certificate and prepaid service sales are final.
Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries or special needs which may affect your services. Please disclose the use of topical medications and drugs that may affect the skin. Accutane (isotretinoin) use must have ended at least 6 months prior to treatment.
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatments. In order for a client who is a minor to receive treatments, a parental consent form must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian prior to service.
Unattended children are not permitted in the treatment space to ensure their safety.
We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. We are able to guide you in selecting appropriate and safe treatments for the health of your skin and your baby during this special time.
Keeping our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every treatment. Waxing services are done hygienically with absolutely no "double-dipping", also called cross-contamination, which may spread disease.
Loss or Damage
We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage of personal items. We strongly recommend leaving your valuables at home or locked away in your vehicle. For the protection of your clothing, we also ask that you wear the body wrap/robe provided for your comfort and convenience.
All major credit cards are accepted. We do not accept any personal or traveler's checks. Any gift cards, vouchers, or certificates must be mentioned at time of booking and must be presented during checkout.
Gift Certificates/Treatment Packages/Pre-Paid Services
Gift certificate purchase value expires 12 months after the date of purchase. An inactivity fee of 10% will be incurred on the original value each month beginning 12 months after the date of purchase. Gift certificates are considered abandoned if not used within 5 years of purchase. Gift certificate, treatment package, and pre-paid service fee sales are final.
If you enjoy your experience at Skincare by Nurse Leslie's, gratuity is customary. It is not included in our listed rates. A gratuity of 20% of each service price is typical, but is at the discretion of the guest. Cash or Venmo (@skincarebynurseleslie) is preferred and greatly appreciated.
Spa Party Reservations
Spa parties are a great way to celebrate while simultaneously being pampered. They are perfect for bridal showers, birthdays, and ladies' nights. Guests may enjoy facials, skin peels, hand treatments, and/or back treatments. There is a 2 hour/$400 minimum to reserve events. Fees include cost of treatment, gratuity, and light refreshments. A 50% deposit is required no later than 2 weeks in advance to ensure that the requested window of time remains available. All fees for services are due 72 hours prior to the date of the event.
